My greatest fear is that because of lack of vision, lack of compassion…because of absence of leadership in the United States, in Europe and in other countries, we are moving further and further towards alienation, towards maybe a real clash of cultures, of peoples, a clash of civilization that will see rampant violence all over the world, in the streets of Europe and in the streets of the United States. That would be an enormous tragedy and unforgivable because we have it in our hands, in our reach to change things, to make the planet and the world in twenty years from now a far better one than we are living in today.
