I am a woman in my late 20s named Sarah who loves to read. A few years ago I decided to start this blog about books and reading so that I could share that love with others! Processing the books I read by writing about them adds another dimension to my experience of them. It is fun to think about and analyze what I read and pay attention to my patterns and interests. I enjoy getting and giving book recommendations in the book blogging community!
I read both fiction and non-fiction. I have many diverse interests and I find that non-fiction is a great way for me to explore those interests. I also love to be completely captivated by another world in a good fiction book.
I live in Boulder, CO with my husband and work as a software engineer for an educational software company. Outside of work, in addition to reading, I participate in many activities, including volunteering as a mediator for a local community mediation program, volunteering within my Unitarian Universalist church, and singing. It is sometimes challenging to find the time to sit and read quietly!
Some other random interests that may show up on this blog from time to time (the “other miscellany” part) include crafts such as crochet, sewing, and embroidery, baking, drinking tea, and bicycling as a means of transportation. Enjoy!
